Rags to Rags Productions is led by producing partners Thomas Branham and Katy Sherman, alongside Mickey Van Drehle, Head of Marketing and Social Media. Together, this leadership team is dedicated to creating vibrant theatre with equal parts heart, humor, and hustle. They bring extensive experience as directors, producers, performers, and marketing strategists, united by a shared passion for storytelling and a commitment to keeping productions running through creativity and collaboration.
Their partnership has brought numerous acclaimed productions to the stage, with Church Basement Ladies standing out as the ultimate highlight. They are proud to be part of the Church Basement Ladies family, both as producers and as longtime champions of the show’s enduring charm.

Thomas Branham lives with his wife, Christy, and is the proud father of three grown children. An accomplished director, producer, and performer, Thomas is committed to creating theatre that engages the community and nurtures local talent.
As co-founder of Rags to Rags Productions, he collaborates closely with Katy Sherman to bring dynamic, locally-driven productions to the stage, including shows that entertain, challenge, and inspire audiences.
Thomas is also passionate about educational theatre, providing young performers with opportunities to develop their skills, confidence, and stage presence. Outside of producing and directing, he enjoys mentoring actors of all ages and exploring creative ways to make theatre accessible and meaningful for everyone involved.

Katy Sherman lives with her husband, Dan, and their four children. A versatile actor, director, and producer, Katy thrives at creating opportunities for creativity and community, using her talents to bring people together through theatre that is inclusive, engaging, and full of heart.
She is the co-founder of Rags to Rags Productions, where she has produced beloved shows including Church Basement Ladies. As Managing Director of 4 Community Theatre, Katy oversees operations at the historic Plymouth Playhouse, guiding multi-generational productions and fostering opportunities for performers and audiences of all ages.
Through her work with Rags to Rags and 4CT, Katy has built a reputation for creative leadership, mentorship, and community-building. When not producing or directing, she delights in working with middle school performers, her favorite audience and cast rolled into one, and an endless source of energy, creativity, and joy.

Mickey Van Drehle lives with his husband, Justin, and their beloved dog, Sadie. A versatile director, actor, and marketing guru, Mickey thrives at the intersection of creativity and community, using his talents to bring people together through laughter and storytelling. With a background in marketing, he has a unique ability to blend strategic thinking with imaginative production, making every project both impactful and entertaining.
